The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations place a number of requirements on businesses and is aimed at ensuring the hazards of potentially dangerous substances are identified and suitable risk management programmes implemented through COSHH assessments. For businesses with a more direct involvement in the placement of chemical substances on the market place there are also requirements to suitably classify & labels the products under the CLP regulations, and to supply a safety data sheet (SDS) to all customers.
